Gangotri Gaumukh Trek


Gangotri Gaumukh trek is also known as Gangotri Gaumukh Tapovan trek or Gaumukh Tapovan trek.Located in Garhwal Himalayas Uttarkashi district, altitude of 3900 mtrs. approx. 12800 ft., best season is may to august excluding july rainy season.

On Day 1, we reach in Uttarkashi via Chamba town. Uttarkashi is famous for its climate, Vishwanath Temple and an institute NIM (Nehru Institute of Mountaineering). 2nd day reaching Gangotri which is famous and holi shrine full of beauty of Deodar and pines jungle.

On day 3, Gangotri to Bhojwasa - We reach Bhojwasa via Chirwasa. There is some small campsites near Ganges, where you can pitch tents. The overnight stay will be in beautiful tents.

On day 4, We took light breakfast and hot cup of tree by seeing the beautiful mountains. and then Bhojwasa to Gaumukh. Gaumukh glacier is called "Source of Ganges River". Thats why this trek called "Source of Ganges Trek". On day 5, Back Tapovan to Gangotri - Uttarkashi and then last day back from Uttarkashi to Rishikesh.

Payment will be made by Bank Transfer/ Cheque or Cash in favor of Travel Himalayan Outdoors.

50% of the total payment is required for advance booking.

Payment for this session will not be adjusted in other session in future.

Once you pay 50% will not be back on cancellation.

Cancellation must be informed before 3-5 days.

Rest of the amount will be paid on arrival by cash.

There is no permit to join camping before 100% of payment in office.
